Natural Grass Ball Hanging Bird Toy
Choice!
I recently added the Natural Grass Ball Hanging Bird Toy to my parakeet's enclosure to see if it could replace the usual plastic alternatives. It is a straightforward, natural accessory designed specifically to keep smaller bird species mentally and physically occupied throughout the day.
Performance & Build Quality
The construction is impressively minimalist, utilizing safe, non-toxic woven grass that feels durable yet shreddable for curious beaks. It holds its shape well under daily use and shows no signs of fraying or loose threads that could pose a safety hazard to your pet.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setup is virtually instantaneous, as the ball hangs easily from any standard cage wire. My birds were initially cautious, but the natural texture quickly encouraged them to investigate and begin shredding within just a few minutes of introduction.
This toy is perfect for owners of small birds like parrotlets, budgies, and lovebirds looking to provide enrichment that mimics natural foraging habits.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Natural Grass Ball Hanging Bird Toy earns a solid 4.8/5 rating for its simple, effective design. Priced at $24.90, it is a worthwhile investment for any bird owner who wants to promote healthier, more active habits in their pets.
